About the Technology

Heat-activated microcapsule technology for enclosed electrical systems and advanced material integration.

FireXNull develops microcapsule-based fire suppression solutions for enclosed electrical systems and selected material-level applications.

Our core technology is based on heat-responsive microcapsules containing FK-5-1-12 clean agent. Under normal conditions, the microcapsules remain inactive. When exposed to a preset activation temperature, the capsule shell releases the clean agent near the heat source to help suppress early-stage fire activity.

This technology is used in FireXNull’s ready-to-install products, including FXN Sticker, FXN Rope, and FXN Tape, for electrical enclosures, control panels, battery cabinets, EV chargers, server cabinets, HVAC units, and wire connection points.

FireXNull also offers FXN-M200 / FXN Microcapsules for manufacturers, formulators, chemical distributors, OEMs, and R&D teams evaluating fire-suppression additives for coatings, polymers, resins, adhesives, sealants, composites, and other material systems.

Because the fire-suppression agent is contained within the microcapsules, the technology can provide passive, localized protection without external power, wiring, sensors, pressure vessels, or manual activation. Suitability depends on the application, formulation, processing conditions, installation location, and required performance testing.

FK-5-1-12 is a clean, electrically non-conductive fire suppression agent that leaves no residue, making it suitable for use around sensitive electrical and electronic environments.

FireXNull products are supplemental fire mitigation solutions for intended enclosed or material-level applications. They are not a replacement for code-required fire protection systems, alarms, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, or life-safety systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is FireXNull?

FireXNull Inc. is a U.S.-based fire safety technology company specializing in automatic, microcapsule-based fire suppression solutions for electrical and enclosed systems.

What problem do FireXNull solutions address?

FireXNull solutions are designed to mitigate early-stage electrical fires that originate inside enclosures, where traditional fire suppression systems are difficult or impractical to install.

Are FireXNull products fire extinguishers?

No. FireXNull products are supplemental, enclosure-level fire mitigation solutions. They are not handheld fire extinguishers and are not intended for structural or life-safety fire protection.

How does FireXNull technology work?

FireXNull uses heat-activated microcapsules containing a clean fire-suppressing agent. When abnormal heat is detected, the microcapsules activate automatically and release the agent directly at the source of the fire.

Do FireXNull solutions require power or electronics?

No. FireXNull solutions are fully passive and require no electricity, sensors, wiring, software, or external systems.

What materials can FireXNull microcapsules be integrated into?

FireXNull microcapsules can be integrated into polymers, resins, coatings, paints, adhesives, sealants, and fiber-based materials, enabling built-in fire protection at the material level.

Do FireXNull solutions leave residue after activation?

No. The clean agent is electrically non-conductive and residue-free, making it suitable for sensitive electrical and electronic equipment.

Are FireXNull solutions suitable for electrical equipment?

Yes. FireXNull solutions are designed primarily for electrical and electronic environments, including control panels, cabinets, energy systems, and enclosed equipment.

Do FireXNull solutions require maintenance?

No routine maintenance is required beyond visual inspection during normal equipment servicing.

Can FireXNull solutions replace sprinklers or building fire systems?

No. FireXNull solutions are intended to complement, not replace, code-required building fire protection systems.
