FXN Sticker for Small Electrical Enclosures

FXN Sticker is a passive, heat-activated, microcapsule-based fire suppression sticker designed to provide supplemental localized protection inside compatible electrical and electronic enclosures. Mounted on the enclosure ceiling, its microcapsules release electrically non-conductive FK-5-1-12 clean agent when the sticker reaches its activation temperature. No sensors, batteries, external power or control wiring are required.

Evaluate FXN Sticker for control panels, distribution boards, automation cabinets, network and telecom cabinets, OEM machine enclosures and similar enclosed applications. Choose a fixed model by enclosure volume, or the FXN-SA4 professional sheet, cut into sizes S1 to S65, when you service a mix of enclosure sizes. It adds a layer of localized suppression but does not prevent electrical faults or replace required fire and electrical safety systems.

Installation and Electrical Safety

Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Before opening electrical equipment, turn off and verify it is de-energized, and follow applicable lockout/tagout and electrical safe-work procedures. Attach the sticker to a clean, dry, flat top interior surface with unobstructed exposure to rising heat, and press the entire adhesive footprint firmly. Keep the sticker clear of conductors, terminals and moving parts, and preserve required electrical and service clearances. Do not bend, fold, puncture, cover or paint the sticker. Avoid wet or condensing conditions and consult FireXNull for vented or forced-air cabinets.

FXN Sticker is not an electrical insulator, fault-repair product or substitute for required fire protection. Record the installation date and use the instructions applicable to the selected model.

How Do I Size FXN Sticker for Larger Enclosures?

Select by internal enclosure volume using the sizing references above. For enclosures larger than 2.3 ft³ (65 L), compartmented cabinets, or equipment with vents or forced cooling, request a sizing review. Larger cabinets may be better served by FXN Rope, and individual terminations by FXN Tape. For indoor outlet and switch boxes, use the dedicated FXN-S1.

Which FXN Sticker model do I need?

Choose by internal enclosure volume: FXN-S20 up to 0.7 ft³ (20 L), FXN-S30 up to 1.0 ft³ (30 L), FXN-S50 up to 1.8 ft³ (50 L) and FXN-S65 up to 2.3 ft³ (65 L). If the volume falls between sizes, select the next larger model.

Can FXN-SA4 be cut to any size?

No. Cut FXN-SA4 only into the defined sticker sizes S1 to S65 (S1: 0.75 x 0.75 in nominal; S20, S30, S50 and S65 along the printed grid), following FireXNull's cut and placement guidelines. Do not cut the fixed-size models or make arbitrary modifications.

What temperature activates FXN Sticker?

Its specified activation temperature is 248°F ± 9°F (120°C ± 5°C) at the sticker, the same as FXN Tape and different from FXN Rope.

Can I use more than one sticker in a large cabinet?

Larger or compartmented enclosures may need more than one unit or a different format. Ask FireXNull for an application-specific sizing review before installing.

Is FXN Sticker UL Listed?

No. FXN Sticker is not UL Listed as a fire suppression product. It is supplemental localized protection and does not replace code-required fire protection or electrical safety systems.

Does FXN Sticker leave residue?

The FK-5-1-12 clean agent itself leaves no residue. Replace the sticker after any activation and inspect the equipment before returning it to service.
