OEM Fire Suppression for Electrical Equipment
FireXNull works with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) exploring a passive, localized fire suppression layer inside compatible electrical equipment and materials. Our microcapsule-based technology activates in response to heat without relying on external power, sensors, or control wiring.
Designed as supplemental protection: FireXNull products do not replace code-required fire detection, suppression, or other equipment safety systems. Suitability and protection scope must be evaluated for each application.

Illustrative OEM application overview. Product activation thresholds differ: S Series Sticker and T Series Tape approximately 248°F; R Series Rope approximately 428°F. Suitability requires application-specific evaluation.
Where OEMs can evaluate FireXNull
- Electrical enclosures and equipment housings: supplemental localized protection where the enclosure geometry, operating conditions, and installation location are suitable.
- Industrial controls and power distribution: evaluation for compatible enclosed panels, cabinets, terminals, and associated equipment.
- Electrical connection points: localized applications around compatible lugs, terminals, and wire junctions.
- Coatings and engineered materials: evaluation of microcapsule additives for compatible formulations and manufacturing processes.
Four product formats for different integration needs
FXN Sticker: enclosed electrical equipment
A heat-activated format designed for placement on a suitable interior upper surface of compatible electrical enclosures. Product selection depends on enclosure dimensions and the approved installation instructions. Explore FXN Sticker models.
FXN Rope: distributed placement inside cabinets
A flexible, heat-activated format for compatible electrical cabinets with appropriate mounting locations. Mechanical mounting, operating temperatures, electrical clearance, and access for servicing must be reviewed. Explore FXN Rope.
FXN Tape: connections and terminals
A heat-activated format for localized application at compatible enclosed electrical connection points. Evaluate installation clearances, operating temperatures, and the specific connection configuration. Explore FXN Tape.
FXN-M200: additive for compatible formulations
A microcapsule-based functional additive for technical evaluation in compatible coatings and materials. Processing conditions, capsule integrity, formulation stability, and release performance in the finished material need validation before commercial integration. Explore FXN-M200.

Our OEM evaluation process
- Define the application. Share the equipment type, enclosure size, likely ignition locations, normal operating temperatures, and relevant environmental conditions.
- Identify an appropriate format. Review whether a sticker, rope, tape, or formulation additive is a reasonable candidate for the equipment.
- Review integration constraints. Confirm electrical clearances, mounting, process conditions, serviceability, and applicable design and code requirements.
- Evaluate samples. Agree on application-specific tests and acceptance criteria before making performance or coverage claims.
- Plan the commercial integration. Discuss specification documents, repeatable installation, technical support, and supply requirements once the application is validated.
OEM questions
Does FireXNull replace a code-required suppression system?
No. FireXNull is positioned as a supplemental, localized fire suppression layer. Applicable codes, product approvals, and required primary safety systems remain part of the equipment design.
Do the products need power, sensors, or a control panel?
The finished sticker, rope, and tape formats are passive and heat-activated. They do not require external electrical power or control wiring for their activation mechanism.
Will one FireXNull product protect an entire enclosure?
Coverage cannot be assumed from product format alone. Enclosure volume, internal layout, ventilation, ignition location, and application conditions must be assessed using applicable product documentation and testing.
Can FXN-M200 be added to any coating?
No. Formulation compatibility and processing survivability depend on the coating system and manufacturing process. Trial formulation work and validation of the cured material are necessary.
Can FireXNull support an OEM evaluation?
Yes. Share the proposed application and technical requirements so the FireXNull team can assess whether a product format and sample evaluation are appropriate.
